TK Studios was established in 2013 by Tara Adamson & Kirsty Marshall. We pride ourselves on offering a fun, relaxed, and professional environment for anyone wanting to explore the fabulous world of dance and performing arts. Our well trained and qualified faculty offer a range of dance styles for the budding professional dancer or the dancer who is looking for fun and fitness. We offer classes for beginners to advanced, ranging in ages 2.5yrs to Adults. Our classes are enjoyable and structured, and we ensure our dance environment is safe for all students.
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
A DANCE DISPLAY/CABARET PERFORMANCE is held in April (West Beach) or December (Hope Valley). This is a fun family day for all. We choose a theme for this performance and all TK members perform for our audience. We also have a DJ who runs a disco and games for our guests. The day also includes a choreography display - students who choose to, choreograph and perform their very own routine to our audience. Students can work alone or in groups.
Our MAJOR PRODUCTION is held in September (Hope Valley) or November (West Beach). All members perform their routines in full costumes & stage make-up at a local theatre. This also involves a running rehearsal held locally, and a photo shoot held at the studio.
COMPETITION students perform their solos/duos at 2 competitions every year.
DANCER DEVELOPMENT DAY is very popular among students. It involves a full day workshop including dance, acting, singing and modelling which concludes with a performance by all members attending.
